A special discussion is scheduled to take place next Wednesday (October 2) between representatives of political parties and the Election Commission.
During the meeting, the representatives of the political parties will be briefed on the process of accepting nominations which is due to be held on October 7th.
The Elections Commission stated that representatives of political parties who have already placed their bonds, party representatives who have informed the Elections Commission that they will contest the Presidential election and representatives of political parties representing the Parliament have been summoned for this discussion.
Meanwhile, a meeting between the chief of police and the election commission is scheduled to be held next Wednesday. The Election Commission said that they will discuss the security arrangements for the day of accepting nominations.
