Accordingly, with the latest consignment of vaccines, altogether 9.1 million Sinopharm vaccine vials have been brought into the country so far, Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals State Minister Channa Jayasumana said.

The consignment was initially stored at the Katunayake Airport Import Cargo Division freezer facility and transported by the Sri Lanka Pharmaceuticals Corporation (SPC) to its Central Warehousing Complex in Colombo by freezer trucks.
