Attorney General Dappula De Livera has informed the Director-General of Health Services that bodies of COVID-19 victims not claimed by families, can be cremated in terms of Quarantine Regulations.
The Coordinating Officer to the Attorney General, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said the Director-General of Health Services had sought advice from the Attorney General with regard to unclaimed COVID-19 bodies.
