04 COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday (01); death toll rises to 122

04 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed on Tuesday (01) raising the death toll in Sri Lanka to 122, said the Director General of Health of Services, according to the Department of Government Information.

The details of the COVID-19 deaths are as follows :

01. A 74-year-old male from Colombo 12. He had passed away at his residence on the 29th of November 2020. The cause of death was ruled as a germ infection which had developed while he was infected with COVID-19.

02. A 74-year-old female from Kolonnawa. She had died as her residence on the 29th of November 2020. The cause of death was ruled as internal bleeding in the brain and COVID-19 infection.

03. A 93-year-old female from Rajagiriya. She had passed away at her residence on the 28th of November 2020. The cause death was ruled as COVID-19 infection with blood infection and a skin infection.

04. An 81-year-old male from Colombo 10. He was tested positive for COVID-19 at a Private Hospital and was moved to the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital where he passed away on the 30th of November. The cause of death was ruled as chronic lung disease and COVID-19 infection.
