The Department of Government Information quoting Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, the Army Commander and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) announced the isolation of multiple areas will be lifted with effect from Monday (30).
Colombo District :
Isolation status will be lifted at 05:00 AM on Monday (30) in the following areas :
Mattakkuliya Police Area
Foreshore Police Area
Pettah Police Area
The following areas will remain isolated until further notice :
Mutuwal Police Area
Bloemendhal Police Area
Kotahena Police Area
Grandpass Police Area
Aduruppu Street Police Area
Dam Street Police Area
Keselwatte Police Area
Maligawatte Police Area
Dematagoda Police Area
Maradana Police Area
Wekanda Grama Niladhari Division in the Slave Island Police Area
Wanathamulla Grama Niladhari Division in the Borella Police Area
The following areas will be placed in isolation from 05:00 AM on Monday (30) :
Randiya Uyana Housing Complex & South of Ferguson Road in the Mattakkuliya Police Area
Laksanda Sevana Housing Complex, Salmul Grama Niladhari Division and the Vijayapura Grama Niladhari Division in the Wellampitiya Police Area
Gampaha District:
The following areas will be released from isolation with effect from Monday (30):
Negombo
Ragama
The following areas will remain isolated until further notice :
Wattala
Peliyagoda
Kelaniya
The Department of Government Information noted all other areas placed in isolation will remain isolated until further notice.
