President Gotabaya Rajapaksa paid homage to the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura on Sunday.
During his visit, the president called upon the Atamasthanadhipathi Ven. Pallegama Sirinivasa Nayaka Thero and obtained his blessings.
He also engaged in a religious offering at the temple.
