A group of 264 Sri Lankans repatriated from Qatar arrived in the island, earlier on Wednesday morning (July 1), aboard a special SriLankan Airlines flight.
According to officers at the Bandaranaike International Airport, the majority of passengers who arrived from Qatar, were migrant workers.
Another group of eight Sri Lankans arrived in the island from the capital of Doha, aboard a flight operated by Qatar airlines.
“All passengers were subjected to PCR testing,” airport officials said.
