An 18 hour water cut is scheduled to commence on Saturday the 30th of May at 9 am until 3 am on Sunday the 31st. The water cut will affect Colombo and areas in its vicinity.
According to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board the water cut will affect the areas of Colombo 2,3,7,8,9 and 10 while Colombo 1 will experience a low pressure water supply.
The water cut has been scheduled due to an essential maintenance activity taking place on the main pipeline running between the Amabatale water purification centre and Maligakanda.
