135 coronavirus-infected navy men recovered so far – Army Chief

A total of 479 from Sri Lanka Navy has tested positive for COVID-19 virus so far, says the Commander of Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

Out of this tally, 135 navy men have been discharged from hospitals as they have made complete recoveries, he added.

Another 344 navy men who have contracted the virus continue to be under medical at several hospitals in the country.

Sri Lanka confirmed 925 positive cases of COVID-19 and 445 recoveries as of last night (14).

Ten coronavirus-positive individuals were identified yesterday and the Army Chief confirmed that 8 out of this count are navy men.
