New Ministry Secretaries appointed

New Secretaries have been appointed to seven Cabinet Ministries today (11), stated President’s Media Division issuing a press release.

The seven newly appointed Ministry Secretaries are as follows:

  1. Ministry of Justice, Human Rights, and Law Reforms – Mrs. S. M. Mohamed
  2. Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government – Mr. J. J. Rathnasiri
  3. Ministry of Tourism and Aviation – Mr. S. Hettiarachchi
  4. Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and Social Security – Mr. H. K. D. W. M.N. B. Hapuhinna
  5. Ministry of Internal Trade, Food Security and Consumer Welfare – Mrs. J. M. B. Jayawardene
  6. Ministry of Mahaweli, Agriculture, Irrigation & Rural Development – Major General (Retired) A. K. S. Perera
  7. Ministry of Health & Indigenous Medicine – Major General Sanjeewa Munasinghe
