Galle stadium wins “Cricket Ground World Cup”

The Galle International Cricket Stadium was voted in as the winner of the “Cricket Ground World Cup” after defeating Lord’s Cricket Ground in England, in a Twitter poll conducted by renowned Cricket Journalist Jarrod Kimber.

The Galle International Cricket Stadium claimed the top spot amidst heavy competition, including many popular Cricketing Arenas such as the scenic Wankhede Stadium and Dharmasala in neighbouring India.

The Galle International Cricket Stadium was pitched against Lord’s Cricket Ground, widely regarded as the Home of Cricket, in the final of the “Cricket Ground World Cup” and claimed the top spot, garnering 66% percent of the votes.
