The Department of Pensions has issued a press release stating that it has commenced a new Operating System.
The new system was introduced in accordance with the government’s plan of performing duties at home, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new system was launched with the data of a retired Sri Lanka Army officer being fed into the system as the first application.
The press release stated that the program has been successfully implemented and more than 500 applications have been added to the system by various agencies.
