A woman has been arrested in Pitawila, Moragahahena for the possession of illicit liquor. Accordingly, 52l 500ml of illicit liquor contained in 70 bottles have been taken into custody, according to the police.
The arrested woman, aged 30 years, is reportedly a resident near Gonapala Junction in Kumbuka North area.The suspect is to be produced before the Horana Magistrate’s Court today (20).
