In the evening or at night, there will be rain or thundershowers at some places in Uva and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle, Matara and Nuwara Eliya districts, while there may be rain or thundershowers in a few places in the Weste Province and Kandy district, the Department of Meteorology says in a statement.
There will be mainly rainless weather in the rest of the island.
In Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva Provinces and Galle and Matara Districts, frosty conditions may prevail in the mo ing.
