Lesser than 10,000 PCR tests have been conducted in the country within last three days, according to the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
Accordingly, a total number of 7,366 PCR tests were done on Friday, 8,343 on Saturday and 9,575 tests yesterday.
A total number of 359 COVID-19 infections have been reported in the country yesterday, and the majority of 77 cases were from the Gampaha District, while 74 from Colombo District.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country stands at 85,695 as of today.
However, only 3,134 patients are being treated at hospitals.
Meanwhile, a total number of 729,562 individuals have received the Oxford- AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine up to date, since the vaccinating process began.
