The Department of Agriculture has discovered a mango variety that provides an all-year produce. It has been named “Tirunelveli Yellow mangoes.”
The Director of the National Agriculture Information & Communication Centre, S. Periyasmi stated that this mango variety was discovered following experiments conducted for over 20 years by the officials of the Tirunelveli Agricultural Research Station.
