Sri Lanka’s Covid-19 death toll climbs to 124

02 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed on Wednesday (02), raising the death toll in Sri Lanka to 124, said the Director-General of Health Services, according to the Department of Government Information.

The details of the confirmed COVID-19 deaths are as follows :

01. A 66-year-old female from Chilaw. She had passed away on the 30th of November 2020 upon admission to the Chilaw District Hospital. The cause of death was ruled as cardiac arrest resulting from COVID-19 infection.

02. A 67-year-old male from Colombo 13. He had passed away at his residence on the 30th of November 2020. The cause of death was ruled as a stroke and COVID-19 pneumonia.
