All economic centers in Sri Lanka will be re-opened with the intervention of Sri Lanka Police and the Divisional Secretariats said Agriculture Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
Thereby a program to distribute vegetables and other dry rations will commence, he added.
The Narahenpita Dedicated Economic Center as well as the Economic Centers in Ratmalana, Hokandara, Veyangoda, and Ratnamala will be re-opened from Wednesday (04).
The Agriculture Minister said the harvest of all farmers will be purchased and will be made available for the general public adding the farmers and people do not need to panic over the situation.
Further, all Super Markets will re-open and 15 vehicles will be made available for each outlet to commence food distribution.
