Another 164 persons tested positive for Covid-19 increasing the total number of cases in the country to 11,224.
Health Ministry said 43 of the infected have been identified through quarantine centers while 121 of them were associates of Covid-19 patients in Minuwangoda, Peliyagoda.
Meanwhile, 344 infected people were recovered and discharged from hospitals increasing the recovered cases in the country to 5,249.
