12 kilograms of a synthetic drug known as ‘Mandy’ was seized in the Ambalangoda beach, confirmed Sri Lanka Police on Saturday (15) night.
Sri Lanka Police said the value of the synthetic drug is estimated to be more than Rs. 200 Million.
One suspect was arrested, said Sri Lanka Police adding an investigation is underway.
Sri Lanka Police said the drugs were smuggled to Sri Lanka via boat.
