The Police Constable attached to the State Intelligence Service who foiled the Rs. 7.9 Mn robbery from National Hospital recently died in the ICU today, following an accident involving a defender on 11th June.
The accident took place close to the Sambudhdha Jayanthi Mandiraya along Havelock Road in Colombo on June 11th.
The Police constable was seriously injured in the accident and succumbed to his injuries this morning.
