The Ministry of Cultural and Religious Affairs has requested the Director-General of Health Services to make recommendations on reopening of Cinema halls.
A decision will be made with regard to the reopening of cinema halls after receiving the recommendations, the Minister of Buddha Sasana, Cultural and Religious Affairs Bandula Harischandra said.
Permission will be sought to conduct stage plays and indoor concerts while adhering to health recommendations.
