Another 03 more COVID-19 patients have been detected in the country last night, confirms the Ministry of Health.
Thereby, 25 infections of the novel coronavirus have been identified within yesterday (16).
This hikes the total number of cases reported in the country to 960 infections.
As per the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry, 431 active cases are under medical care at selected hospitals across the island.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has reported 520 recoveries from the coronavirus.
The country’s death toll from COVID-19 stands at 09.
