The Criminal Investigations Department was ordered on Wednesday to produce former health minister Dr. Rajitha Senarantne at the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
The Colombo High Court earlier today quashed the bail order issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court on Former Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne.
Co-ordinating Officer to the Attorney General State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne confirmed to media an application on the matter was filed by the Attorney General with the Colombo High Court today.
On the 30th of December 2019, the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court granted bail to the Former Minister in the case filed in connection with the White Van press conference.
