Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has urged the general public to give utmost support to the government’s efforts to save the country from COVID-19 outbreak.
He stated this delivering special statement on the prevailing situation in the country, this evening (07).
In his address to the nation, the Premier outlined the measures taken by the government to mitigate the pandemic outbreak and appreciated the sacrifice made by security forces and health workers who are on the COVID-19 frontline.
“In the face of a pandemic as such our attentiveness, commitment and discipline will decide whether we will survive,” the PM stressed.
