The curfew re-imposed in 19 districts at 2 pm today (April 6) will be in effect until 6 am on April 9 and will be re-enacted at 4 pm on the same day.
However, the curfew imposed in the Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Puttalam, Kandy, and Jaffna districts will be in effect until further notice, the President’s Media Division said.
The curfew in the remaining districts was lifted at 6 am today.
