Appeal Court to further consider Ravi’s writ application on Tuesday

The Court of Appeal has decided to further consider the writ application filed by Ravi Karunanayake, Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) owner Arjun Aloysius and two others on Tuesday (March 17).

The writ applications filed on behalf of former minister Ravi Karunanayake, PTL owner Arjuna Aloysius, Central Bank employees Sangarapillai Pathumanapan and Indika Saman Kumara, seeking a court order to revoke the arrest warrants issued against them, was taken up for consideration today (13).

The court ordered former minister Ravi Karunanayake, Arjun Aloysius and two others to appear before the court before 4.00 p.m. today (13) with regard to the writ application.

Meanwhile the court has also ordered the Fort Magistrate’s Court not to issue any orders against the four petitioners, who are named as suspects in the Central Bank bond issuance case, siyatha news reporter said.
