ComBank celebrates Women’s Day with big discounts on ‘Anagi’ Debit Card purchases

‘Anagi’ Women’s Savings Account holders of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon can enjoy discounts ranging from 10% to 50% when making purchases via their Debit Cards this March, consequent to the Bank tying up with 30 merchants island-wide to mark International Women’s Day, celebrated on 8th March.

These discounts will be applicable from on specified dates between 5th March and to 5th April on purchases of clothing, cosmetics, footwear, jewellery, electronic devices, homewear, and healthcare facilities at partner merchants, and offer Anagi account holders an opportunity to indulge in some retail therapy, the Bank said.

Merchants participating in the promotion are Aditi, Avirate, Babies.lk, Bata, Brantel Lanka, Celcius, Choice Park, Devi Jewellers, ELE, Fior Drissage, Handloom Gallery, Hemas Hospitals, Joseph Fraser Hospital, Jovani Couture by Dressbay, Kandygs, Lanka Hospital, Mallika Hemachandra Jewellers, Midnight Divas, Molly Boulevard, MONDY, New Nithyakalyani Jewellers – Wellawatte, PL. MTT. Muthukaruppan Chettiar Jewellers, Raja Jewellers, Saree Mandir, Spring & Summer, Sunimals, The Faceshop, The Lanka Hospitals Corporation, Vogue Jewellers, Zigzag and House of Fashion.

Additionally, women who open new ‘Anagi’ accounts between 2nd and 16th March with a minimum deposit of Rs 3000/- will also be presented an ‘Anagi’ booklet in Sinhala and Tamil with beauty secrets, sewing tips and delicious recipes, the Bank said.

The ‘Anagi’ Women’s Savings Account was launched in 2012 with the intention of influencing Sri Lankan women to build their financial stability by empowering them with features such as the highest interest rate in the savings account category for women, and zero restrictions on withdrawals. Account holders are offered a branded passbook and an ‘Anagi’ shopping Debit Card with exciting year-long promotions.
