The Sri Lanka Transport Board notes that over 1200 buses have been requested for the transportation of ballot boxes for the Presidential Election.
Deputy General Manager of the SLTB P.H.R.T. Chandrasiri said in addition, buses have also been requested for the officials. The National Elections Commission noted that more than 16,000 state and private vehicles will be used for the presidential election this year.
