The second day of the second phase of postal voting will commence today (November 5). According to the National Election Commission,officials attached to the police, election offices and district secretariats will have the opportunity to cast postal votes today.
Further the NEC said, the first day of the second phase of postal voting was conducted in a peaceful manner. The first phase of postal voting for the Presidential Election was held on the 31st of October and 1st of November.
Voters who were unable to cast their votes on the aforementioned days and are unable to cast their votes during the second phase, will be afforded the opportunity to cast their votes on the 7th of this month. The National Election Commission states, photography and videography is strictly prohibited at the polling centres and publishing photographs on social media is a punishable offence.
