UNP has decided to expel State Minister Wasantha Senanayake from the party, Party General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said yesterday.
Mr. Kariyawasam told media that action will be taken to remove his state ministerial portfolio as well.
State Minister Senanayake had earlier announced that he will not support the presidential candidate of the party, Sajith Premadasa.
