Chairman of Avant-Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
Senadhipathi arrived in the country at 11.30 PM yesterday (October 16) after traveling to Singapore for medical purposes.
Chairman of Avant-Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi is named as the second suspect in a case filed against soliciting a bribe of Rs. 35.5 million for operating a floating armory belonging to the Avant-Garde company.
The Galle Magistrate court had banned Nissanka Senadhipathi from traveling overseas.
