Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said yesterday he had been called to appear before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) probing the Easter Sunday attacks.

He said this in Parliament during arguments on the PSC.

“I like to discuss the PSC as one who has been called to testify before it. However we need to carry on with the business in the House,” the Prime Minister said.

He said the ruling given by the Speaker on the PSC and on the letter sent to the President by the Attorney General should be accepted by the MPs. “ We don’t have any issues with the ruling that have been given by the Speaker on the AG’s letter,” the Prime Minister said.
