Four suspects have been arrested over the incident that transpired yesterday (July 4) where two traffic police officers were attacked and their revolver with 5 ammunition was grabbed in Pudur, Batticaloa.
The arrest was done in an operation conducted by the Batticaloa police last night (July 4). The suspects are aged 19,23 and 55 and are residents from areas around Batticaloa. Further investigations are being carried out to trace the revolver that was taken from the two policemen.
