Former Secretary of Defence Hemasiri Fernando and IGP Pujith Jayasundara are to appear before Court today(July 03).
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayarathne visited the National Hospital and Police Hospital in Narahenpita last afternoon and ordered the duo to be remanded until today. The suspects are currently receiving treatment at the National Hospital and the Narahenpita Police Hospital under the Police custody.
IGP Pujith Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were due to appear before the CID last morning to provide a statement over the 21st April attacks.
