Today marks day 4 of the fast launched by MP Ven. Athuraliye Rathana thero opposite the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
According to our correspondent in the are a large number of individuals including members of the maha sanga as well as political activists arrived at the location today to speak with the thero.
The fast which began on the 31st of May, calls for the immediate removal of certain individuals who currently occupy important positions in the Government.
