The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau states that the process of providing explosives and gun powder to external parties will recommence under an effective method.
A senior spokesperson for the Bureau said that the activities will recommence next week. He further claimed that several discussions were carried out between President Maithripala Sirisena as the Defence Minister and the National Security Council regarding the matter.
The decision to temporarily suspend explosives and gun powder to external parties was taken by the Ministry of Defence following the April 21st attacks.
