Police Special Task Force recorded a statement from notorious underworld leader Makandure Madush, currently detained by the Criminal Investigations Department. It is reported, the statement was recorded with regard to investigations carried out by the Special Task Force.
Samarasinghe Arachchige Madush Lakshitha alias Makandure Madush was arrested in Dubai and thereafter was detained by the CID upon arrival in the country on May 5th. Police Narcotic Bureau is questioning Makandure Madush who is one of the leaders of organized criminals as well as drug dealers.
